Food Pantry Ministry--Have you shopped yet?

Redeemer's new Food Pantry Ministry (an outreach to the poor via our sister church, Family Affair Ministries in East Nashville) is up and running.  This is Week One.  FAM is connected with many agencies who are in desperate need for food for people who are in difficult situations and our parish has enthusiastically  jumped into this new avenue to feed the poor, in the Name of Jesus.  In case you forgot to pick up a shopping bag from the new FAM Corner, here is a shopping list of non-perishable items.  One bag of beans is a blessing.  Bring your bags on Sunday and drop them off at the FAM Corner.  Our Team will take them to FAM on Monday.

Here are the things that we are hoping you will bring for the Food Pantry
Pasta, hamburger helper, rice, tuna helper, canned veggies, canned meat, peanut butter, jam, jelly, corn meal, cereal, bottled water, ketchup, mayo, flour, sugar, spices, canned soup, dry soups, jarred or canned fruit, diapers, vegetable cooking oil, bathroom supplies, toilet tissue, 3-fold or roll paper towels, Lysol toilet cleaner, Clorox, Lysol wipes, antibacterial liquid soap, and any non-perishable (canned or dried) items.
